Description: The Stela of Queen Tetisheri is a limestone donation stele erected by Ahmose I in honor of his grandmother, Queen Tetisheri; it is located in his mortuary pyramid at Abydos. Ahmose I was the first Pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty.
About the Speaker: Dr. Steven Harvey, New York State University, Stoney Brook, researches the archaeology, iconography and architecture of ancient Egyptâ€™s early 18th Dynasty.
