Washington, D.C. Chapter

Washington, D.C. Chapter

Carol Boyer, President

The ARCE Washington, DC chapter (ARCE-DC) sponsors, on average, ten free lectures and one seminar a year, plus occasional social events. We sponsor tours to Egypt and organize occasional bus trips to museums that are featuring exhibitions on Egypt.

Our Friday evening lectures will now be held in Alexandria: 505 East Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA 22314

Venue sponsored by:

Hands Along the Nile Development Services, Inc. (HANDS)

Our chapter has approximately 80 ARCE members and the average attendance at lectures is approximately 50 people.

ARCE-DC is initiating a new Sponsorship Program whereby a member or group of members and friends may sponsor a Chapter speaker or event. Speaker sponsorship has met with great success in other ARCE Chapters, so we are very excited to now offer this option for the DC-Chapter. As a Sponsor, you would contribute towards or fully sponsor the cost of your speakers travel and honorarium. In return, you would be officially recognized in the program, introduce the speaker and serve as the master of ceremonies for that event.

If you are interested in participating or would like further details, please contact ARCE-DC President Carol Boyer at:, or call her at 301-466-1100 .
