EXCURSION: ARCE Trip to Abydos Find us

Come and join a unique trip to Luxor and Abydos with ARCE, guided by Tariq Swelim, Art Historian/Lecturer. In three days we will explore the work of some foreign missions working in both sites.
We will fly to Luxor on January 16, at 7:00 a.m. A visit to the West Bank will include the Colossi of Memnon, the newly opened tomb of Ramses VI at the Valley of the Kings.
We will spend the day of January 17 at Abydos visiting the temple of Seti I, the New York University expedition directed by Dr. Sameh Iskander at the temple of Ramses II, and hopefully the PENN/YALE/IFA expedition at the Shunet el-Zebib directed by Dr. Mathew Adams.
On January 18, we will visit Karnak Temple with a special trip to ARCE's newly built conservation lab and work site at Khonsu Temple with Project Director Fraser Parsons.
Cost per person sharing double: ARCE Member, LE1450; Non-member, LE1650.
Single supplement: LE150
In addition: LE1100 (subject to change) for round-trip ticket, Cairo-Luxor-Cairo.
